Today, I introduce you to a vegetarian restaurant, Yishensu – A Vegetarian Connoisseur which is located at 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya. While the 1 Utama outlet is opened in 2007, it has been in business in Ipoh and Kampar, Perak for many years. It currently also operates a branch at Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang.

Special Pineapple Fried Rice with Anchovies & Cashew Nuts
Main courses here are served as individual orders and dishes. Individual orders comprises various choices of rice and noodles served with various different types of vegetarian dishes. My favorite choice is the Special Pineapple Fried Rice with Anchovies & Cashew Nuts. Served in half a pineapple husk, the fried rice tastes good and worth a try. It is available as ala carte order and also as a Set Dinner with Ice Lemon Tea every Monday to Thursday from 6pm to 9pm (except public holidays).

This evening, I had my dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya – Tokyo G, formerly known as Sushigroove. Tokyo G does not serve sushi using conveyor belt unlike those found in Sushi King and Sakae Sushi.

Curry Fried Rice Bibimbab
The main course I ordered today is the Curry Fried Rice Bibimbab which contains chunks of chicken meat and raw egg served on hot nabe bowl. The rice should be stirred together with the raw egg before consuming it. I rate this item in the menu as one of the best choice of rice dishes available in this restaurant. Also available are various types of rice dishes (don), nooodles (udon) and even pasta.

Rocket United Cafe is perhaps the first politically-related F&B outlet in Malaysia. Located in Jalan SS2/63, Petaling Jaya it is a kopitiam-style cafe that not only serves various types of food typical in any kopitiam, but also sells politically-related merchandises such as T-shirts, books and souvenirs as well as providing voter registration service.

Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken
In my maiden visit today, I’ve ordered the Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken, Muar Otak-Otak and a jar of hot Len Hon Coffee for breakfast. The Nasi Lemak Rendang Ayam certainly tastes good and worth trying. It is served on a large square plate with a piece of chicken and sambal ikan bilis.
